CUSTOMS PAYMENTS

More than 3,000 years ago, lead was used to make a metal label. Today, lead seals are used in various situations, neither as customs labels nor as decorative labels. Lead labels can only be pressed with pliers that emboss the logo into the metal.

Towards the middle of the last century, aluminium foils were used, which were cut into small strips with dimensions between 7 and 10mm. The stripes can be embossed with imprint and numbering.

These metal labels are easy to use and are extremely affordable. They are called indicative labels.

An interesting variant of metal labels was developed around 1970, when seals with body are made of aluminum with steel cable of variable length. Such metal labels are adjustable and have a high traction resistance. They are also classified as high security seals.

The body is made of aluminum and can be made in different colors, with personalization and numbering.

With the need for the development of increasingly safe and stronger labels, bolt labels made entirely of metal are being developed, which are used exclusively for sealing containers.

The currently strongest label on the market is a latch label that blocks the central container door bars.

Neither bolt labels nor bolt labels are high security labels, as is the cable label with a diameter from 3.5mm.
